I’m so excited to have you here and share this delicious recipe with you! I’ve been working on this sauce recipe for awhile and finally feel like I have perfected it!
This white sauce recipe is to die for! It is a McDougall vegan “dupe” for alfredo sauce and it can still fool me to this day. This sauce is great because it’s so versatile - you can use it as a pasta sauce, in a casserole or use it as a topping!
Ingredients:
1 block of tofu silk
2-3 garlic cloves
2 Teaspoons vegetable
Better Than Bouillon
1/3 cup nutritional yeast (you can add more if you would like)
1/2 unsweetened non-dairy milk
Directions:
In a blender combine the tofu silk, non-dairy milk, Better Than Bouillon, nutritional yeast, and garlic.
Mincing the garlic beforehand is optional, but recommended for easy blending (jarred garlic is also an excellent option).
Continue blending the mixture until it is smooth.
Season with salt and pepper as necessary.
Serve immediately on noodles, or place in a container in the fridge until use. If you are going to put it on noodles, only apply it right before you eat.
